Lodrino is an Italian municipality of about 1,600 inhabitants in the province of Brescia, about 30 km from the city. From the town, you can admire a beautiful view over the valley, Monte Guglielmo and the rocky mountain above, which evokes the more famous Dolomite mountain range: at sunset, Monte Palo (1461 m a.s.l.) glows a very suggestive bright red. During the summer months, Lodrino’s pine forest, equipped with benches and tables, offers relaxation and relief from the heat. From Pineta, it is possible to venture towards the Caspai ferrate or follow a moderately steep path from the village to the small Sanctuary of Santa Croce. In the hamlet of Invico, you can visit the Ethnographic Museum and Peasant House of Lodrino, a place to remember the peasant and artisan culture of the past. Lodrino’s central position with respect to the lakes of Garda, Iseo and Idro has made it an excellent place of transit for numerous Italian and foreign tourists.
