From Valle Trompia to Franciacorta
Campiani, Wine Road, Ome and back
Starting from the car park at the Prealpino train station, head westwards, passing through the town of Collebeato. The first climb of the route, short but intense (150 metres of altitude difference in less than 2 km), will take you to the crest of the Campiani hills.
The climb leading from Franciacorta to Ome is very challenging. You will be faced with unpredictable slopes and difficult ascents until you reach San Giovanni, a hamlet in the municipality of Polaveno.
At this point, you can loosen up your legs and pedal back to the starting point without too much effort, thanks to the slight downhill slope.
