The structure is situated in a <strong>dominant position<\/strong> on a hillock on the northern side of the valley; due to the size of the structure and the almost direct view of the valley, it is taken as a <strong>landmark<\/strong> for the entire valley. The building has a fa\u00e7ade with central openings, including a <strong>large marble entrance door<\/strong> and an upper rectangular window, while the interior has a <strong>single nave with an elliptical vaulted roof<\/strong> with large, deep side chapels on either side. Next to the church are a<strong> sacristy and bell tower<\/strong> with their own structure, oriented according to the layout of the pre-existing church.
