Valle Vandeno

Valle Vandeno extends on the left side of Valle Trompia and is crossed by the stream of the same name, more than 3 km long, which flows into the Mella river just outside the town of Marcheno. The valley and the valleys that flow into it (Valle di Pozzolo, Valle Segolini and Val Veroda) can be considered part of a single catchment area that is entirely part of the Marcheno municipal territory. The area is crossed by an easy-to-travel path that follows the route of an existing mule track. The path alternates flat stretches with short climbs, along which you can admire flora consisting mainly of hazelnut bushes, ash trees, black hornbeams and riparian willows, among whose foliage can be seen evocative glimpses of the valley.
