All-Mountain route in Vaghezza

Ups and downs through woods and forests

The route begins on an easy asphalted road that leads up to the village of Irma and gradually becomes steeper before turning onto a concrete-gravel road that leads up to Passo Croce, passing through beautiful forests and glimpses of the upper Valle Trompia.

From here, you go downhill along a forest road to Pian di Vaghezza, where you can get something to eat and drink at the kiosk and then go back on an asphalt road for 10 minutes. This is where the real descent begins, which runs first on a steep forest track and then, from Marmentino, on a relatively technical single track to the valley floor, ending on the road that quickly takes you back to Lavone.

The itinerary (40% asphalted, 20% single track, 30% dirt road) is of medium difficulty and can be done almost all year round except when there is heavy snowfall.
