Church of Saints Filippo and Giacomo

The parish church of saints Filippo and Giacomo was built from 1899 onwards on a design by architect Carlo Melchiotti (a prominent figure in the Brescian Catholic Party) on a building that was commissioned by the Confraternity of the Suffrage in 1523. The church preserves many works of art, starting with the ancient dark stone portal of the previous chapel. Inside, you can admire the Bellini-inspired polyptych of the first altar on the left and the painting of the Madonna with Child and Saints attributed to the school of the Venetian Andrea Celesti.
